Tactical/portable GPS repeater kits

Portable GPS repeater system for rapid deployment in temporary situations where signals are needed inside any internal space.

This compact, portable system is ideal for use in MISSION CRITICAL and PUBLIC SAFETY roles.

Also useful for situations where temporary cover is required and permanent fixing is not required, or possible.

Aircraft aviation maintenance can be carried out indoors – no need to push the aircraft outside or open the doors. 

It contains a complete repeater kit in one enclosure; provides indoor signal within a few minutes of arrival on scene.


Each kit includes:
  • GPS repeater unit
  • AC power supply for charging the battery pack or running the system on mains power
  • Battery pack (8 Ah) if no AC mains power is available
  • GNSS antenna
  • Suction mount for the antenna
  • Cable reel with 20m or 40m low-loss coaxial cable
  • Fused to protect against system over-current
  • Input for 12V DC power from car battery or cigarette lighter socket

The hard case is made by Peli, world-renowned for making the toughest cases available.

The repeater system is encased in a protective foam insert that protects the contents from impact.

This system covers GPS L2 in the lower L-Band and GPS L1, GLONASS, Galileo, BeiDou in the upper L-Band.

Installation

A detailed manual is provided with each system.

This is an overview of the installation process.

  • Place the antenna outside the building in a location where it has a good view of the satellites in the sky above.
  • Use the cable reel holder to unwind the cable and connect it to the external antenna.
  • Open the case and point the lid towards the area where signal is required.
  • Connect the coaxial cable to the repeater input connector.
  • Power up via mains or battery.
